Vesper

Updated: Jan 21

My take on a classic Vesper martini. This is what you should make if you're trying to get the party started and do not want just a regular Vodka or Gin martini.

  • Start with a shaker full of ice

  • 3oz of high quality Gin (I prefer Hendrick's)

  • 1.5oz of high quality Vodka (I prefer Ketel One)

  • 0.5-0.75oz of Lillet Blanc (This is a French Apertif Wine and gives the drink a slightly sweet taste.)

Shake and strain into your martini glass. I also like to add a small, metal whiskey stone to the martini glass before straining, this ensures the drink stays extra cold. And with this amount of liquor, you do not want it getting warm.
