Gin Berry Spritz

While at home one day, I decided to work on creating a new Gin cocktail. While looking at the ingredients I had on hand, I noticed some strawberry jam in the fridge. I also remembered that I purchased some Hwy 9 Gin from Cultivated Cocktails in Asheville, NC, so I started working on my next drink.

• Start with a shaker full of ice

• 1tsp of Strawberry Jam

• 3oz of Gin

• Shake these ingredients hard and strain into a pint glass filled with ice

• Then top with your choice of flavored soda water (I chose Waterloo Blackberry Lemonade) and stir

This turned out far better than I expected. Great for warm day sitting on the porch.
