Dixie’s Berry Farewell — A Martini Worthy of a Drag Legend

Last night, the Queen of Tupperware herself, Dixie Longate, graced Charlotte with her presence on her Farewell Tour. It was a night of sass, laughter, and Southern charm served up in high heels — and to honor the occasion, I mixed a martini as bold and juicy as Dixie herself:

🍓 Dixie’s Berry Farewell

This cocktail is a sweet and sparkling sendoff to a woman who’s made plastic bowls, bad choices, and hilarious storytelling into an art form. It's bursting with berry flavor, a bit of citrus sass, and a whole lotta sparkle — just like Dixie.

• Start with a shaker full of ice

• 2oz Absolut Wildberri

• 1oz Blackberry Liqueur (I used some from Cayman Spirits Co.)

• 1oz Berry Wild Juice (or any mixed berry blend)

• 0.5oz Lemon Juice

• Shake and strain into a martini glass

• Top with Berry La Croix

It’s fruity, a little wild, and goes down smoother than leftovers from a Southern church potluck that you took home in your Tupperware containers.
